Is this guaranteed if I apply?
No — Compudopt uses a lottery system. Entering puts you in the pool for a specific event, but selection isn't guaranteed.
Does having a phone or tablet disqualify me?
The requirement is specifically about not having a working computer at home. A phone or tablet generally doesn't count against you, but check current event rules since they can vary.
What if there's no event near me?
Compudopt only operates in select cities. If there isn't an active event in your area, consider PCs for People, Human-I-T, or your local library's laptop lending program instead.
